Announcing the All-New Taylormade R9 Program with KBS Premium Shafts

Announced just earlier this month, FST is proud to have TaylorMade select KBS steel as the stock shaft option for their next generation R9 and R9 Tour Preferred irons. Designed with a classic appearance, both version of TaylorMade’s new R9 irons incorporate a mix of technology designs that enhance distance, control and feel for the player. With these design objectives in mind and TaylorMade’s standing as a leading industry manufacturer, FST couldn’t be more excited.
Since its introduction in early 2008, KBS steel has been adopted at an unprecedented rate among premier players around the world. In 2009, we wanted to turn more of our attention to the industry’s top OEM’s and couldn’t be happier with the result. Now in November, KBS Tour steel shafts are offered in nearly every major OEM and in Taylormade’s next generation irons. The results have been truly rewarding. Still, we’re continuing to work with our partners to find new ways to expand our businesses and awareness for the importance of steel shaft selection.
The all new Taylormade R9 and R9 TP irons are clearly on a trajectory to be a hit in the industry based off the reviews, forums, and industry chat dedicated to the new iron designs.
