KBS Tour shafts shine twice with wins at the Byron Nelson and the Senior PGA Championships

Boulder, Colorado - KBS Tour Steel shafts continued their ascent on the professional tours with a double victory Sunday. A win at the prestigious Byron Nelson Championship in Las Colinas, TX and a win at The Senior PGA Championship in Cleveland, OH. Both winners tenaciously applied their skills and relied on the new KBS Tour steel shafts in their irons. Braly further explains, "The objective was to achieve a specific ball flight while maximizing the flow of energy in the shaft, 'like a whip'. By studying the MOI (moment of inertia) and the EI (flexural rigidity) of varying shaft sections, we were able to specify the most effective reductions in stiffness throughout the length of the shaft. Sunday's dual victories were unbelievably gratifying for me."
