Taylormade Selects the KBS Hi-Rev Wedge Shaft for their xFT Wedges

KBS is thrilled to announce its second inline program with Taylormade Golf. The KBS Hi-Rev wedge shaft will be offered as the stock selection for TM’s new xFT Wedges launching later this year. The all-new Taylormade xFT wedges have seen significant industry buzz since their announcement in response to their innovative eXchangeable Face Technology design. The new wedge design allows players to change the face-plate of their clubhead according to wear ensuring precision performance at all times. Other designs in the xFT Wedge include:

1. eXchangeable Face Technology: an interchangeable face-plate that allows players to install brand new club faces on the go.
2. High performance ZTP groove’s milled to conform with the USGA’s groove-rule changes
3. A textured clubface designed to impart a better backspin.
4. And, KBS Hi-Rev shafts specifically designed to add backspin while retaining KBS signature feel.

The KBS Hi-Rev shaft saw excellent results in our early testing that included Tour players and shot monitor evaluation. Testing showed the Hi-Revs to impart a significant amount of added spin without taking away from the stability and ‘feel’ players have often referenced for the KBS design. Needless to say, early OEM acceptance of the shaft clearly indicates it’s performance and design value during the controversial groove-rule changes.
