KBS Shafts Hot in the 2010 Professional Tour Season

01.04.2010

KBS Tour steel shafts have been on a hot streak since the end of 2009 with 3 wins on International Tours and 2 wins already on the 2010 PGA Tour season at The Sony Open & AT&T National Pro-Am. This week marks the second time this season KBS shafts have been atop the FedEx Cup race as they continue to dominate the PGA Tour in other areas. This year alone, KBS shafts have led in Scoring Average, Money Earned, Birdie Average, Lowest Score, and the all-important GIR. These statistic’s paired with KBS shafts field competitiveness clearly indicate the hot streak KBS steel continues to enjoy on the world’s premiere Golf stage.

In addition to this year’s early champions playing KBS steel, there have been a number of close calls and miraculous rounds where player’s in KBS steel have distinguished themselves from the field. At the SBS Championship, KBS steel tied the record for lowest round going -10 in the final day ending runner-up in the tournament. Again, at the Sony Open, KBS steel was in the bag of both the winner and runner up finishers where either player dominated the Birdie Average category and GIRs. This past week at the AT&T National Pro-Am, KBS steel helped the week’s winner post the lowest-round (tying the back-nine record) for the tournament’s opening day.

It’s hard to say things could get any better but KBS continues to be put in play by players hitting their stride. Expect more highlights from the Professional Tours soon!
